Robert Hegyes (Juan Luis Pedro Felipo de Huevos Epstein) dies at 60.

This was the GMA ‘Welcome Back, Kotter’ reunion which took place last year. Hegyes who was know for his role as Juan Epstein on “Welcome Back Kotter.” Hegyes was in cardiac arrest when paramedics were enroute to John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey where he later died, according to Reuters.

On the show “Welcome Back Kotter,” Hegyes played “Juan Luis Pedro Felipo de Huevos Epstein” who was a Jewish Puerto Rican student. Epstein was part of a remedial class of high school kids known as the “Sweathogs.”

“Hey, Mr. Kotter, I got a note!” was Epstein’s catchphrase which would follow by the reading the note aloud suggesting that he had made the excuses himself. One of the things that made the program successful was the friendships that crossed ethnic boundaries. The cast which also included Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs [Freddie 'Boom-Boom' Washington], Gabe Kaplin [Gabe Kotter], Ron Palillo [Arnold Horshack] (who was unable to attend), Marcia Strassman [Julie Kotter], and John Travolta [Barbarino], had reunited on the TV Land Awards and on “Good Morning America” in 2011.

“My reality far exceeded my dreams when this thing came along, it just did,” Hegyes said then.

Tacos: Comfort food for the racially profiled!

In East Haven, CT its getting ‘muy caliente’ as Mayor Joseph Maturo Jr. is coming under fire for comments he made about his handling of the Hispanic/Latino/Spanish communities after the recent in indictments of four police officers who are accused of harassing, beating and retaliating against Hispanics and the individuals who defended them.

What’s for dinner you ask? “I might have tacos when I go home. I’m not quite sure, yet.”, “I might Spaghetti tonight being of Italian decent.”, “I’ve had ethnic food and when you ask me what I was doing for Latino’s tonight I may go out and have a Latino dinner in the Latino community.” these were all answers from Maturo Jr. but not to the question stated in the beginning of this paragraph.

As you watch the video you begin to realize from the start that this was bound to end in embarrassment for not only Maturo Jr., but for East Haven. I’d say the next step is to hire a PR rep who’s job is to deal with the press since that was obviously not a job requirement for Mayor of East Haven.

In a related note perhaps Maturo Jr. needs to take a lesson from TACO instead of eating them and….

It was a cold day as several brave New Yorkers’ stripped down to their underwear for the eleventh annual, No Pants Subway Ride. Nearly 4,000 participated in NYC with tens of thousands more participating in 59 cities in 27 countries around the world.

So just in case you’re pre-occupied killing Russian terrorists in what is an otherwise hollow and bittersweet victory, playing a game with the name that sounds like a post intercourse bodily function… “Awwww…. S*****, S*****, S*****…” comes to mind. Perhaps yet another re-boot of a series that’s as ‘old’ as time and takes place in a galaxy far far forgotten! It could be worse you still be one of the many stranded getting RAAM-ed with dlc?

If that didn’t get your attention I don’t know what will?

So Rocksteady Studios is giving you an early Christmas gift! The Batman Inc. batsuit skin is now available for download on XBLM, PSN, and GFWM. However there is one catch! You need to beat the game.

By now I hear people complaining, “I beat the game like 3 times already and my save data was deleted.” or to quote a friend who will remain anonymous, “I HATE THIS GAME!!!!” Get over it! This is still one of the best games of the year and you have to play through it again! At least that data save problem shouldn’t be much of an issue now!

I do have good news though there is another way to get the skin. You can enter the following code at the game’s main menu and don’t forget to pick the right save: Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down

If you hear a sound then you know you entered the code correctly. After that you should be able to equip any of the batsuits that you’ve unlocked including the one you just downloaded, Batman Inc.

Of all the fonts out there isn’t it about time we just delete the most commonly ‘UNUSED’ font? Isn’t the reason for this because people just don’t know how to use it and it is often used in situations for which it was not intended? Even in an attempt to be funny I would know better than to use it in a post because of its repercussions! Forget the scarlet letter, this is the forbidden font and for good reason.
